Akshaya trust is doing a yeoman job to improve the plight of the homeless and abandoned in the city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

Narayanan Krishnan,the founder found his true calling when he witnessed a homeless man eating his own human waste on the streets. He left his lucrative job and has never looked back since.
